My votes go for #'s 13, 6, and 16. #13 has great organization as well as some very user-friendly images of the shoes. It also has an attractive color scheme. #6 is has a lot of great features that are well-organized through good use of proximity and alignment. Finally, #16 has a good color scheme, good use of proximity with the key features of the website and good use of contrast with the white background and yellow box for ordering info.

My three favorite designs were 13, 14, and 16.

Reasoning:
-Design 13 presented simple chunks of information placed together in an organized manner for my eyes to follow. It was clean, and quick to the point. There wasn't too much clutter as sometimes can be distracting on websites. Beyond usability I like the "high-tech" look of the page.
-Design 14 did a nice job of breaking up what I need to know into succinct boxes. The bulleted points make it easy for scanning.
-Design 16 also did a nice job of grouping similar aspects of the site to make maneuverability easier. I like that the shoe is in the middle rather than off to one side-then I can move to buy, or read more about it. The color scheme puts my mind at ease. :o)

My three favorite designs (if I don't pick my own :) are 16, 15, and 13. I like 16 the best because the site is the easiest to look at. It doesn't hurt my brain, because I can look at the site and instantly understand what's going on. Site 15 is pretty to look at. I like the large pictures of shoes and the fact that the shoes are all grouped together to one side. I picked 13 for a similar reason, because there are large pictures of the shoes and a nice contrast between the black background and the photos.

My top three choices are 13, 4, 2.

I really like 13. I like the choice of the black background. It adds depth and power along with the gray border surrounding the shoe. Very clean, very neat.

4 and 2 are close behind. I appreciate the simpleness and cleanness of 4 and 2. I think design 4 is a very easy-to-use design highlighting the shoe and giving basic information.

2 is a good design also. I like the clothes suggestion on the bottom of the page.

#6, 9, and 10. I think they all have really good color concepts and look a lot cleaner than the original webpage.

To clarify, I like how these pages include sizing help and return policy links. I also like zoom features, alternative views, recently viewed, you might like, and color selection options used on these pages. These features provide something extra to make purchasing shoes easier. (i.e., usability)

I just added #15. Paul, can you specify what you mean when you say "not try to do too much, yet offer some nice features"?

I like #2, 9, and 12, I'm not too keen on some of the fonts used and sometimes I lost the message it was for a runner, but those were my 3 favorites!

My 3 favorite redesigns are #3, #13, and #14. These designs do not try to do too much, yet offer some nice features. All three excel in organization and usability. Well done!
